Egyptian Siwa Dates

Varieties & maturation
The Siwa Oasis producers offer both fresh dates and dried dates for commercial use. The three most important varieties are the local Siwi, Frehi and Azzawi. Maturation periods vary: the Siwi and the Azzawi at the beginning of October Producers harvest the dates by hand, climbing the trunks with the aid of a belt made of palm fibers.
Our Siwi dried date can be used directly as a complete healthy and tasty snack full of vitamins and nutrition values and also it might be used for a variety of receipts and it could easily turn into date syrup which is often used in sauces and dressings
